ED Injectables usually refers to a compounded injectable medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) when oral medications (like Viagra or Cialis) are not effective.

It’s called “ED Injectables” because it combines three drugs in one injection:

• Alprostadil – relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow.
• Papaverine – also relaxes smooth muscle tissue in blood vessels.
• Phentolamine – helps keep blood vessels open.

Together, these medications are injected directly into the base or side of the penis before sexual activity to produce an erection.
