Do I need a prescription for compounded medications?

Does insurance cover compounded medications?

How long does compounding take?
Most compounded medications are ready within 1–3 business days depending on the formulation. We also offer free delivery throughout the Tampa Bay area so you don't need to make a trip to pick up your medication.
Does Lutz Pharmacy compound pet medications?
Yes! We compound medications for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other animals — in flavors pets love like chicken, beef, tuna, and bacon. Any dosage form including chewables, liquids, and transdermal gels. Just bring a prescription from your vet.
